Overview
Wear Wonders (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is a virtual fitting room app that lets you see yourself in any outfit using AI. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
The core principle: Your photos never leave your device permanently. We do not store, sell, or share your images.
Information We Collect
Account Information
When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive and store:
- Email address — used to identify your account
- Display name — shown in your profile (editable)
- Authentication token — used to verify your identity on each request
This information is stored in our database (Google Cloud Firestore) and is necessary to provide the service.
Subscription Information
If you subscribe to Wear Wonders Pro, we store:
- Subscription tier (free or pro)
- Subscription platform (iOS, Android, or web)
- Subscription expiration date
Payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store), Google (Play Store), or Dodo Payments (web). We never see or store your credit card number, billing address, or other payment details.
Usage Data
We track a single usage metric:
- Weekly generation count — the number of AI try-on images you generate each week, used to enforce the free tier limit (2 per week)
Images and Photos
Your photos are stored only on your device.

When you tap “Try It On”, your photos are sent to our server transiently — they are passed directly to a third-party AI model for processing, the result is returned to your device, and the original photos are immediately discarded from server memory. They are never written to disk, database, or cloud storage on the server side.
If you uninstall the app, all photos and generated images on your device are permanently deleted. We have no server-side backup of your images.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to:
- Provide the service — authenticate you, generate try-on images, and manage your subscription
- Enforce usage limits — track weekly generation counts for free-tier users
- Process subscriptions — verify purchase receipts with Apple, Google, or Dodo Payments
We do not use your data for:
- Advertising or ad targeting
- Training AI models (your images are not used for training)
- Selling or sharing with third parties
- Profiling or behavioral analytics
Third-Party Services
Wear Wonders uses the following third-party services:

We may change AI providers over time to improve quality or performance. Regardless of the provider, your images are only processed transiently and are never used to train AI models.
Data Retention
- Account data — retained as long as your account exists
- Weekly usage counts — retained for the current week only (resets every Monday)
- Images — never retained on our servers; device-only storage is managed by you
Your Rights
Delete Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile tab → Delete Account. This will:
- Permanently delete all your data from our servers (Firestore documents)
- Delete your Firebase Authentication account
- Photos on your device will remain unless you uninstall the app
Access Your Data
Your profile information is visible in the Profile tab of the app. For a full export of your server-side data, contact us at the email below.
Data Portability
Generated images can be saved to your device's photo library or shared via the share button at any time.
Children's Privacy
Wear Wonders is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We protect your data using:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Firebase Authentication for secure sign-in
- Google Cloud infrastructure with industry-standard security practices
- No image persistence on servers — minimizing data exposure
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
